Following Central Government’s announcement to close Nurseries to all those who are not critical to the threats of the Coronavirus, we have today fulfilled that request.
Kinder Castle remains opens to care for the children of those who are essential to the fight against the virus and will operate as normal for those children. This has given us the chance to retain 6 members of staff, at this time.
It is so important we all respect the many things the Government are asking us to do so that we can limit the period we and other businesses are closed or partially operating and get back to normal with a full staff team, as soon as possible.
For those who continue to attend Kinder Castle our opening hours remain the same and we will have an under 2 unit and an over 2 unit. We will continue to follow the educational plan and Emma, our early years teacher, will continue to deliver the curriculum for those children as normal.
For those who have been instructed by the Government to stay at home, I would like you to cancel your monthly standing payment with immediate effect. We can re-instate your payments once we are fully operational.
We have been overwhelmed by your kindness and support and your understanding of the situation we have been forced into. Many parents have insisted they will continue to pay their fees in order to help support us through and whilst this is beyond kind I must ask that we all recognise the uncertainty we are facing, particularly financial, and that you cancel your payments to us immediately. I simply cannot accept payments when we are not delivering a service to you. I am aware a vast number of Nurseries are insisting on an April payment, as a month’s notice period, however I have no intentions of doing this. We are all facing a reality which is entirely different to the normal and so none of the normal practices apply.
